When required, OMC coordinates testing and validation activities at specialised proving grounds, including the Nardò Technical Center, where trailers can be assessed across a wide range of on-road, off-road and demanding environmental conditions.

Test programmes may include endurance trials, suspension and vibration assessments, tyre checks and dynamic behaviour analysis, as well as mud, dust and rough-terrain testing. Additional checks can include water ingress resistance, resistance to dust, gravel and debris generated during operation, and gradient passages to verify minimum approach and departure angles.

These activities help validate trailer performance in conditions that closely reflect real use, supporting the certification process with technical data, functional checks and objective evidence of product behaviour.
