SINCE 1984
Founded as a manufacturing partner for leading companies in the Italian metalworking industry, OMC soon establishes itself as a trusted name in precision manufacturing, built on skilled people, technical expertise, and continuous investment in advanced production technologies.
OMC designs, manufactures, and markets under its own brand a wide range of solutions, including independent rubber suspension axles, brakes, overrun braking systems, chassis with height-adjustable drawbars, special-purpose frames, and both road-legal and off-road trailers.
OMC becomes part of a major industrial group rooted in the Bari Mechatronics district and operating in Italy and across international markets, strengthening its production capacity and consolidating its position in an increasingly global industrial landscape.
OMC launches a major growth project through the acquisition of the historic former Officine Calabrese site in Bari, a production complex of approximately 200,000 m², along with the historic Calabrese brand. The initiative brings new life and a future industrial vision to a site that had been inactive for over thirty years.
The new facility officially starts operations, marking a decisive step in OMC’s growth journey and bringing together industrial continuity, manufacturing innovation, and the preservation of an important legacy in Italian mechanical engineering.

OMC PRODUCTION
All OMC production is entirely MADE IN ITALY and based at our modern facility in Modugno (BA), where advanced manufacturing technologies and the expertise of a highly qualified team ensure precision, reliability, and consistent quality across every stage of production.
The sheet metal cutting and processing department is equipped with the latest Combo Tower Laser Genius+ 1530 by Prima Power and LaserTube LT8.20 systems, a Schiavi press brake, a hydraulic press for sheet metal deep drawing, as well as additional machinery including shears, bending machines and mechanical presses.
The coating department is equipped with a 12-m shot blasting tunnel, a solvent-based paint booth with a 12-m tunnel, and a modern automatic polyester powder coating system. This allows OMC to manage complete treatment cycles, from washing and surface preparation through to coating application and curing.
The welding department is equipped with several welding stations and two advanced robotic systems: one dedicated to welding trailing arms and the other to welding axles.
Assembly lines and extensive stock availability allow OMC to serve its customers quickly while ensuring high quality standards.

OMC QUALITY
OMC, together with qualified research institutions and leading international operators, works on the development and manufacturing of road trailers and special-use equipment.
