Founded in 1984, OMC Axles & Trailers has become in just a few years a leading company in the precision mechanics. Thanks to the competences and technical skills of its qualified staff and to the wide range of production possibilities, OMC was embraced by the largest companies in the engineering sector.
Since 1988, OMC Axles & Trailers designs, manufactures and sells its own brand of independent rubber suspension axles, brakes, overrun devices, chassis with height adjustable drawbar, special frames and bespoke trailers all compliant with the latest regulations.
In July 2013, OMC Axles & Trailers became part of a large industrial group widely recognized in ITALY and abroad, with many production plants and characterized by its vast international experience on the global markets.
All OMC production is entirely MADE IN ITALY, centered in the new plant in Modugno (BA), operating through the best new technologies available on the market and with the support of a highly qualified staff.
- The metal cutting and bending department, employing laser technology with the latest TRUMPF cutting machine, ensuring precision, speed and flexibility. Next to that OMC uses numerous presses (hydraulic and mechanical) and bending machines.
- The welding department with its welding stations of which two are robotized: one dedicated to the welding of the swing arms and the other dedicated to the welding of axles
- The painting department with a modern (automatic) powder coating plant and two 12m tunnels; one for sandblasting and one for liquid painting, giving clients the opportunity to customize their products.
- The assembly department with efficient assembly lines and carefully maintained stock, enabling OMC to serve their clients quickly and guaranteeing a high level of quality.
